Andrew J. Farrell

 

Farrell has over 19 years experience as a leader in software and consulting technology companies, specializing in mobile and wireless technologies for over 17 years.

 

With formal positions including sales, business development, product management, product marketing, consulting, and software development; Farrell has in-depth experience working in every major aspect of a technology and services organization.

 

With extensive expertise in new business formation, Farrell has built mobile and wireless technology product and services based business units from conceptual design through multi-million dollar global enterprises, including founding and managing the Worldwide Track and Trace business at IBM (1996-2002), designing the entire mobile application suite and product strategy at Apacheta (2003-2004), and building from initial concept the entire Enterprise Mobile and Wireless business at VeriSign / inCode (2005 – 2008).

 

Farrell has worked in multiple countries around the world with both customers and business partners in sales, business development, and consulting.  He has published numerous articles and spoken at multiple conferences on topics related to mobile and wireless computing.

 

Farrell has a B.S. in Business / Math Sciences from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.
