Jim Collins

Jim Collins has over 24 years experience in mobile computing, corporate management and operations in pervasive computing companies. Previous to joining Pogo Corporation, Mr. Collins was one of the founders of Apacheta and co-inventor of the architecture and solutions they currently offer in the market today. Previous experience includes the successful launch and fast growth to profitability of JAS Concepts, Inc., a middleware company, where he was co-founder and President/CEO for 11 years. Jim also served as VP of Mobile Computing at Cotelligent, managing all mobile consulting and product initiatives, and Director of Mobile Computing for Dun and Bradstreet, where he pioneered one of the first PC-based mobile client servers for field sales and mobile work forces using laptop and handheld computers. Mr. Collins received his education in Business from Penn State University and in Engineering from Drexel University.
