Steingraf
Fred Steingraf brings over 16 years of CPG marketing and public relations experience
to the Pogo team. He is recognized for propelling multi-million dollar sales gains
through brand creation, positioning, product development, and formulation of high
impact strategic marketing and public relations plans. Fred has successfully created
new brands and grown existing brands for large CPG companies such as Mattel, Anheuser-Busch,
Georgia-Pacific and Superior Farms, as well as a variety of smaller start-up companies
in the consumer electronics, food, and hospitality industries. His experience includes
revamping the entire marketing and public relations infrastructure for an Inc. 500
consumer packaged goods manufacturer, resulting in national and international media
coverage, as well as ultimately setting the company up for a successful sale to
Georgia-Pacific.
Fred has run his own marketing consulting and direct mail companies. He has consulted
for Microsoft, Smith Barney and a variety of other small and medium sized companies.
His direct mail company allowed him to actively sell and consult to small business
owners in northern California.
Steingraf earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California,
Davis and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California. He lives in Danville,
California with his wife and three children.
